Milli, Monsters, and Minibars Michael
A large gathering of well bred (and well fed) old-ish White people listen to a live radio broadcast, Nathaniel Hathorne (NO “W”), Garrison Keillor and American songs lead off this week’s show while the Big Crazy (Marcus Bachmann), station wagons and ice cream cones help to define what America really is in 2011. We spend time talking about how we got here discussing President Obama, Gertrude Stein, Woody Allen movies, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, baked beans and Hot Dog eating contests. Also Michael does not seem to know where chicken comes from. Plus: Meet Julien Havard.
Songs include: Stars and Stripes Forever and American Woman
